What role will civil society actors play in climate adaptation?

Communities around the world are preparing for the impacts of climate change, including greater variability in temperature, precipitation, extreme weather events, and/or rising sea levels. Civil society actors (including community groups and non-governmental organizations or NGOs) have capacities and resources that are very different from local, regional, or national governments. This contest seeks proposals on how civil society actors can support the planning and implementation of programs and projects that respond to the current and future impacts of climate change.
