(1) Provides lot of information about technical aspects to reduce N2O emissions. (2) It is an interesting novel idea for use in Pakistan. (3) Page provides information on N2O reduction of 97% with the use of polymer coated ureas in paddy fields. (4) Pictures or diagrams in the presentation would help strengthen it.

This project is no doubt based on novel idea and if it applied practically will results in sustainable productivity of rice crop thats a staple food not only in Pakistan but also in several other countries like India, Bangladesh, Philippine etc. Such type of unique ideas must be appreciated and implemented to improve the health status of soil and as well as crops like rice.

Its a very good proposal focussing on the paddy- rice fields. Rice is not only grown in Pakistan but it is also grown in many parts of the world. The proposed method (novel coating on the urea) would surely mitigate the emission of nitrous oxide from the urea fertilizers applied to the rice field (flooded rice especially). I do support this proposal and it would be great if it could be implemented in other countries of the globe.

Concept and scope are well defined and encouraging. Very thorough literature/technical review, so conceptually, this project is feasible; however, it is very difficult to evaluate this proposal without a more thorough cost estimate. With such a detailed technical discussion, it would be good to have a cost estimate that is better prepared. Same comments apply to proposed timeline.
