Educating the population is the most effective means of behavior change. While other means, such as utilization of battery-powered cars seem attractive, these approaches merely mask the problem of a wasteful culture rather than nipping the issue in the bud. Displaying the nutritional value of foods at restaurants has served to deter unhealthy eating by showing patrons the nutritional breakdown of a dish. In a similar manner, showing citizens the breakdown of implications for their eco-detrimental actions can cause them to think twice and ultimately deter them from behaving in a way that harms our environment.

An interesting proposal on the important topic of education. However, more project management details are needed.
