This proposal interests me as it could also have gender implications in the production and utilization of bio-fuels, particularly in the emerging economies. There could also be reduction in health expenditure which could arise from cooking technology currently used by most women. This also enhances the budget efficiency in terms of reduction in fuel subsidies and contributes to revenues through carbon trading.

The proposal clearly identifies the stakeholders, proposes a proven technology and is scalable. The project has investment potential. The proposal can provide more information and/or propose a specific biofuels project.

@Pia Jensen: Thank you for your valuable feedback, active support and inputs. The references have certainly helped us refine the proposal further. Based on the judges and your feedback we have suggested specific biomass solutions to 6 of the E7 nations(Note: Brazil is already on a green path). Further on we will suggest specific biodiesel solutions while trying to address cases of surplus/ deficit through trade while reducing forex risks.

@2013replacedieselgenjudges: Thank you for your valuable feedback. Based on the same, we now have included: 1. Figure 2, showing country specific viable biofuels feedstock (both biomass and biodiesl) along with their potentials. Further, the figure also gives details of the diesel capacity to be displaced. 2. Figure 3, showing a detailed list of agro-feedstock for India. 3. Figure 4 & 5, showing the biomass carbon density(supply) and the load centers(demand). This will assist in planning the location of specific projects.

The proposal clearly identifies the stakeholders, proposes a proven technology and is scalable. The project has investment potential. But in the preliminary round, the judges asked the authors to provide more information and/or propose a specific biofuels projects; the authors attempted to address the comments made by judges by updating the proposal with specific countries that have potential for biofuel project implementation, but the proposal still lacks a clearly defined project. The current proposal reads more a bit more like a research paper on biofuels and than a specific project proposal.
