After going through 28 proposals in this category, I see the Climate Access Network as being at the top of the list. As a member of this network, I have no hesitation in saying that the calibre of the work is world class.

The proposal has all the elements critical to success in my mind: collaboration, diversity by engaging cross sector, capacity building and creating a compelling message. Plus a stellar team of real, experienced pros.

The Climate Access Proposal has the structure and personnel to be effective. To reduce CO2 in the air we need to be organized online and this proposal is key for that goal. I like that CA has 1700 people in their network now and is growing. This proposal is #1 on our list.

Potentially very significant project developing all-important infrastructure of people with similar concerns across sectors. It would be very helpful to present one or two compelling examples where connections across sectors have proved particularly useful.

Is this competition the most appropriate funding source for the planned extension of this valuable project? The requested budget is very large and more something a foundation might provide?
