This proposal is clearly focused on the involvement and raising awareness of communities for adaptation planning. However, there is no replication envisaged. Can this be better flushed out in the next proposal? It would be useful to understand how the lessons learned from this project could be transferred to other communities that want to develop communication stories and community-based strategies for adaptation. Also, who exactly would be involved at the neighborhood level? Households, elected officials? This should be clearly articulated in the next iteration.

The proposal touches upon the important aspect of community-based approaches to adaptation in urban areas and of reaching out to them through communication tools. Though the latter are very necessary, a greater emphasis on the action at the household/neighborhood level would be preferable. Also, a focus on how the work might be replicated beyond this province, and hopefully country, would also be useful.

Adaptation should including moving, particularly people living below sealevel: Portions of New Orleans, California Bay Delta, etc.
If not moving, then houses on stilts and pontoons.
