There should be much more discussion on this project. It is about avoiding heartbreak and suffering on a large scale.
The "Farmers" experience and the other points are excellent, but suggest each point made involve extensive input from those who actually experienced disasters.
Bringing many people together who experienced disasters, can reduce your statement time line significantly:
"Generally, the project time line in short term 2-5 years for baseline survey, creating awareness of local communities, building networks."
Thank you, Mark

Sorry the above post did not register. I've reported this to CoLab organizers. This has been going on for about 2 weeks.

I think the general description of this project is integrating almost everything related to Community Based Adaptation, I would only add the importance of developing guidelines for supervising infrastructure in order to assure minimum requirements in local infrastructure particularly in schools, buildings, hospitals, etc.
Additionally I would categorize the level of vulnerability depending on the local ecosystems where these communities are based. Finally I would also suggest the component of natural resource infrastructure such as mangroves and wetlands as part of an strategy to reduce vulnerability.
This link may be helpful in developing more coastal strategies related to this project.

There are several very good concepts presented here, but the proposal needs more specific examples of what might be done. For example, Participatory Scenario Planning sounds like a great idea, but there isn't any information in the proposal about how to implement the idea. This proposal could be greatly improved by focusing on one or two of the ideas presented, identifying specific goals, and outlining detailed plans for achieving those goals.
