The proposed book would likely be very interesting for those already interested in green building and sustainable building in a specific location, but it is unlikely to create any new converts. The proposed product is quite niche. These ideas and this information integrated into an existing, widespread framework or product line already in use would be more likely to have the desired impact. The proposal has merit, but an energy-efficiency tourist guide in many ways appeals only to the already 'converted', and does not have mass appeal. It is a small market segment and therefore does not address the question of 'empowering the public...to build awareness and demand for green buildings'.
