Strong proposal to establish community solar crowd funding platforms to enable individuals (non accredited investors) to crowdfund local, community solar installations. This is a creative, feasible proposal with a clear understanding of the current state of the art that is sufficiently different to warrant strong consideration.

An interesting proposal to build a platform for crowdfunding investments into solar projects. Several options for financing the up front costs for solar projects have emerged in the past few years, offering savings to customers with little up front capital. This promises to build another platform that leverages the popularity (and impact) of crowdfunding.
However, there have been a number of similar businesses that have launched in Europe.
