Interesting idea, but you may find that the main issue is not lack of technology, but rather politics and economics:

As long as there's high demand for plenty of cheap beef (for example), farmers will probably continue the current practices of raising cattle. It's unnatural, unhealthy and unsustainable, but that's what the market demands.
Otherwise I agree it's important to help farmers in developing countries improve their agriculture in every way, to increase yield and improve nutrient content while using less water etc. But here again, you get into issues of using GMO, buying seeds from Monsanto etc.
Assuming most farmers in developing countries won't necessarily be comfortable or effective using smartphones or computers, perhaps another way to help them with technology would be by introducing advanced and efficient irrigation systems, greener alternatives for pesticides and other agricultural techniques.

Very interesting. But, how are you going to make those farmers use it? I'm from Brazil and I have experience that a significant number of low tech farmers have lower levels of education and probably don't have smartphones either (just cell phones). So, how are you going to solve the technology access issue?

How will the people using these tools know the procedure to use them if they are illiterate? What are the main problems faced by people to be addressed by these technologies

Basic idea is good, but would need some commitment from someone to actually see it through. No budget, probably because there is no clear plan of what to do. Not supportable.

(1) It is a limited coverage of the use of smartphones to increase the availability of farming software to farmers. It does not provide information about two options -- How much will emissions be reduced or sequestered vs. business as usual levels? And Related proposals.
(2) There is Information provided on costs and its mail goal is to work on small villages such as major US farm manufacturers, John Deer and others.
