Program claims to have been implemented in a work setting. These are settings where there is a lot of control. I am not surprised it appears to “work” in that context. But will it generalize, last, and transfer to other activities? I doubt it. It would have been interesting to know why this works in a Mexican context and what can be learned from that. The important question of how do you get firms or organizations to adopt these kinds of programs and if they are more effective than structural fixes, such as having computers go into screen saving mode automatically if not in use. These programs usually fail and I see nothing in this proposal that convinces me otherwise in this case.
