Thanks for submitting this very interesting idea. Do you have any thoughts on whether this is something that could be sited in the dense urban fabric of Somerville. In order to develop more precise benefits calculations, you might be interested to know that in calendar year 2014 the waste that the City of Somerville collected was approximately 19,000 tons and recycling was more than 6.5 tons. Oliver, the biodigestor can be easily installed in industrial areas as well as urban areas, the impact is not huge, due to the small to medium size proposed here. it could be relatively close to large demanders of hot water, e.g. hospital and hotel. in this sense it could optimize the hot water distribution. as per your information, recycling is not a big business, only 6,5 ton out of 19.000 ton, there are some interesting companies already in US that could do this. regards a.breda
