To whom it may concern: Dear sirs, Enclosed in this e-mail are several business ideas that would change the world, and save it from the threat of global warming. The following letter will explain: 1. How to generate low cost, clean, superheated steam, for large scale electricity production, for powering cities, and other large scale purposes. a. This is made possible by trapping all the heat produced, making this process near an estimated 95% efficient. Further the non-polluting, and lack of radiated heat, will be very low, effectively eliminating the addition of heat to the greenhouse effect. **2. To use this power generation to run desalination plants across the world to increase access to fresh water for agricultural, and public use. 3. To use this power generation to fight global warming, and ocean acidification, by using this , using ocean cooling machines. 4. How to create numerous fish farms,10,000 sq. miles large, for growing sea food while cooling the worlds oceans. **5. Further this power generation system will make possible the building of high speed electro-magnetic train systems large enough to carry cars and trucks across the country. (a separate issue) a. this would effectively increase transportation speeds, and effectively lower exhaust emissions and heat that produced by thousands of cars and trucks on these long distance trips daily. Large scale power, food and water production, all while fighting the effects of global warming, and increasing carbon sequestering. The ideas presented herein are the future of the worlds economy and require more study, specific design help, and investment of large quantities of money if they are to become a reality. For this reason I am sending this letter seeking financial assistance to help facilitate the creation of a company I wish to name after the energy of life molecule, ATP. Calling this company; ATP: And the motto, "we power life". Further I am positive that the creation in reality of these designs will be met with an immediate and overwhelming demand by the public, forcing governments, and industry, to re-build and adopt these means of power generation. The specifics of global warming issues and its catastrophic implications A. Hydrogen powered thermal mass oven to generate non-polluting steam for large scale electricity production 1. The basic idea entails dropping several large, insulated tubes down into the ocean (or into drilled holes in the bedrock on land) and placing pulley systems within these tubes. 2. These pulley systems will have aerodynamic buckets, turned upside down on them. 3. Then using an electrical cable containing an anode/cathode set up on the bottom. Electricity will be used to split water into hydrogen and oxygen gas. (Electrolysis) a. These gases caught, and sent into separate buckets on the pulley system, will generate 8lbs of lift per gallon of gas. This torque on the pulley system will be used to turn a generator at the top, and generate electricity at the top. b. This electricity (and solar power if needed) will be used to split the water into hydrogen and oxygen gas at the bottom. 4. This electricity will also be used to re-combine the hydrogen and oxygen gases in a hydrogen engine, which will turn a generator, and create much more electricity. 5. This electricity will be used to heat tungsten hot plates, which will be set under huge boilers to generate superheated steam. a. The boilers themselves will be stood upright, maybe 40 of them, each 100ft high x 20ft around, in the middle of an concrete and steel steam pipe enclosed boiler room, that absorb all excess heat as it is trapped in this thermal mass oven. b. This block house be painted black, and enclosed in vacuum sealed glass to make the outside a solar collector. 6. Further, the hydrogen engine exhaust, which is superheated steam (5,200 degrees Fahrenheit), will be piped into the boiler system, as well as into the electrolysis tube to heat it, thus making the electrolysis process more efficient. 7. The pressures at a 3000ft depth would be about 4000 psi, at no cost for compression and exceeds the pressures generally used during industrial electrolysis, and with temperatures at or near boiling this process will become very efficient. a. Once this entire mass is heated up to operating temperatures, it can generate superheated steam, and electricity while coasting on the latent heat trapped within the concrete and steel block house itself. (As a back-up system a simple fossil fuel engine and generator may be used to heat the tungsten hot plates) This type of electrical generation would be clean, and very heat efficient, trapping the generated heat within the blockhouse mass, sealed in a vacuum sealed glass, theoretically approaching a 95% efficiency, making this set up greater than perpetual motion, as it will create more power than what it requires to run it. Further it will not produce excess heat, or pollution, to further the global warming process. B.-C. The creation of 10,000 sq. mile fish farms, and solutions to the Global warming, and ocean acidity problem. The first thing that needs to be done in a war on global warming and pollution, is to cool of the world’s oceans, and intermix it to lower surface acidity. To stop the melting of the world’s icecaps is the most necessary thing as when these icecaps melt they displace weight (8lbs per gallon) that is holding the plates under them down; and this weight is shifted into the world’s oceans were they press down harder on the tectonic plates. When this happens these plates will shift, and will open up, causing earthquakes and volcanic activity, and releasing heat and carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, creating a self-sustaining process we will not be able to stop. (See: part C of this paper; and Deccan traps: volcanism and the K/t extinction) Thus it is of the greatest concern that we do not allow this process to gain momentum, and it has already began. The Smithsonian and the US geological society have already noticed the increase of volcanism across the globe, and in the year 2000 they started monitoring volcanic activity after they noticed it was on the rise. B. Ocean cooling machine 1. The idea is drop many large 20ft. x 20ft. tubes into the ocean depths, approximately 2000 ft. And to use large propellers to draw the cold water from the deep upward to spill it onto the surface of the ocean surface to cool it and to wash out pollution that is making the ocean surface acidic. 2. The water will be pushed up, through screens at the surface to break it up, and aerate it, thus making it habitable to marine life. Further, floatation type spillways will be attached to the tubes at varying depths, extending outward, to insure that the heavier cold water does not just fall back through the warmer upper layers, but becomes mixed into it. 3. This will cause a decrease in ocean surface temperatures, and wash out the acidic contents of pollution, thus making this area habitable to phytoplankton and zooplankton. Phytoplankton habitat increase will allow the sequestering of carbon, and the creation of oxygen, as well as feeding zooplankton to promote the growth of the ocean food chain. 4. Further, it will help to cool the atmosphere, fighting the immediate effects of Global warming. This, I believe is the only way to stop the ice caps over, Alaska, Canada, Greenland and Antarctica from being displaced into the world’s oceans, and causing the previously mentioned volcanic and seismic activity. 5. I picture large platforms containing a hundred tubes, connected on the bottom to a large bell housing to increase efficiency. By the basic math, 100 tubes with a 20ft diameter, moving water at 3 cubic ft. per second = 360,000cubic ft. per hour. This water will be about 40 degrees colder than the surface water, and thus could theoretically cool 2,880,000 cubic ft. by 5 degrees Fahrenheit, per hour. Or about 80 million cubic ft. of water, per day, per machine platform. C. The creation of fish farms while with ocean cooling machines, while fighting global warming It is my thought that we might produce giant fish farms with this ocean cooling machine. 100mi.x 100mi. square in the Pacific and Atlantic ("desert regions') of the oceans. The water in these areas are much too warm to sustain life. By cooling 10,000 sq. mi. areas, you could grow plankton, zooplankton, squid, and small fishes; creating a self-sustaining food source, before introducing larger fish such as salmon, cod and tuna, for the production of food. All the sea life placed within these 10,000 sq. mi. cages will be trapped by the warm waters outside them, and harvesting, and moving fish to new, food filled cages can be accomplished by simply turning machines off and on to control their movement. Further, nutrients to grow phytoplankton can be scooped of the ocean floor with a crane, drug up, dried and dumped back onto the ocean surface making costs minimal. Thus creating a profit from the production and running of these machines, beyond fighting global warming. This process must be regulated or could cause an ice age!!!! But it will facilitate the phytoplankton habitat and increase carbon sequestering, oxygen production, and food production, to feed this continually growing and already over populated world. The income generated will pay for the upkeep and running of these machines. Further, the platforms of these ocean cooling machines should also contain water filtration units, housing for workers, recreational facilities, and large atrium/greenhouses that will be used to grow food using hydroponics, thus, increasing the usefulness of this entire structure. C-1. Beyond these ideas, the following applications are immediately needed. 1. These Machines should be immediately placed into areas around Antarctica, where the warm currents of water are entering, and are under-cutting the glaciers along the coasts. 2. They should be placed into areas where the warm currents are entering the Gulf of Mexico, the Philippine islands, and in the Mediterranean Sea, all of which are heating up the oceans rapidly due to their shallow coastal nature. And support much sea life, which is being threatened by warming ocean surface temperatures. 3. And off the coast of Africa where hurricanes are spun into existence. The lower ocean temps will help cool the atmosphere and minimize the severity, and creation of hurricanes, as a cooler atmosphere holds less moisture. In contrast a hotter atmosphere holds more moisture, and is thus heavier which will create more severe hurricanes and tornados, more often, as a result. D. The true nature of global warming, and it's catastrophic implications, including an alternate explanation for the Iridium layers formation at the K/T boundary ( how global warming killed the dinosaurs and 97% of ocean life) How ignorant and corrupt is a government that fails to fight against Global warming? A media controlled by the rich, bent on “propaganda”, to deceive the people, and a people steeped in ignorance and lascivious pursuits who are being led like lambs to the slaughter. How many people believe that global warming isn’t real??? No Global warming???? Here let me iterate the causes of this problem. 1.The fact is that there are well over 1,000,000,000 cars driven in the world every day, pistons firing approximately 24,000 times a minute, producing 5,000 degree temperatures, and pollution in the form of carbon gases (which hold heat more readily than oxygen) are the single most major contributor to this problem. 2. Add to this, the heating of 3,000,000,000 homes and buildings, 3,000,000,000 cooking stoves in homes and restaurants. 3. The melting of metals at temperatures above 2,500 degrees, that are kept hot 24 hours a day, in thousands of factories around the world, the creation of electricity in coal fired plants which also run 24 hours a day. 4. Planes, buses, rockets, lawn mowers, chainsaws, light bulbs, forest fires, camp fires, volcanic activity, 5. And over 6,000,000,000 people radiating temperatures near 98 degrees. 6. And this does not even take into account methane production, or our releasing of CFC's into the atmosphere, some of which are 1,000 times denser than oxygen. 7. Or deforestation of the entire earth 8. Or the heating of the world’s oceans due to the building of damns, which have stopped snow and ice runoff from reaching the oceans to cool it. This is the greatest threat to our planet as the oceans are the climate control on this planet. A cold ocean is very productive, and helps cool the planet. a. The building of dams across the world has stopped the natural cooling process that have always prevailed on the earth. And is in itself a the greatest cause of the speedy progression of global warming, worse than all others combined, as the ocean is denied the cold waters needed to keep it cool. And water is 800 times more dense than any thing put into the air. 9. The heating of our world’s oceans decrease phytoplankton habitat as they cannot reproduce in warm water. Phytoplankton used to produce 70 % of the earth’s oxygen, and is the basis of the marine food chain. (Further, zooplankton which eat phytoplankton, and form the second step in the marine food chain, cannot produce shells as the carbon monoxide, and dioxide infiltration into the oceans has made it to acidic) We are killing the oceans. It is a known fact that as the amount of carbon gases increase in the atmosphere, the amount of oxygen available will decrease in proportion. Thus the scale of global warming and cooling are controlled by the proportional distribution of these gases in the atmosphere. This is true as carbon gases are much heavier than oxygen, and thus hold heat longer, heating up the world and oceans to a greater degree than oxygen is able to, and it is ultimately the ocean surface temperature that truly controls the earth’s climate. And the ocean surface is heating rapidly, presently undercutting the glaciers in Antarctica, and if they come off that continent, into the ocean, all hell will break lose on this planet. And we will be destroyed by an extinction process, by the same earth meant to give us life. And we would not be the first mass extinction of ignorant life on this planet. No Global warming?? Only liars and ignorant idiots would believe that propaganda. The Extinction Process A professor from Princeton University, Ms. Greta Keller, took core samples at the meteorite impact site in the Yucatan of Mexico that was the alleged site of the meteorite impact that allegedly killed the dinosaurs. She found that the core samples showed that marine life in that area continued to flourish for more than 300,000 before the mass extinction of the K/T boundary occurred, killing everything under 22 lbs. on land, and 97 % of marine life. So, it is not that meteorite impact that did it, and it is the largest impact site on the earth. Thus shedding doubt on this theory, which is solely based on the high concentrations of Iridium found at the K/T extinction boundary. Please, allow me to explain how the Iridium layer was generated at the K/T boundary at the same time that the mass extinction occurred on the planet. And we will begin with global warming, the melting ice caps, volcanism, etc. which we are presently seeing evidence of, and progress this process beyond the K/T extinction, to explain the numerous glacier cycles that occurred afterwards. Check these facts: 1. The dinosaurs over-populated the planet and began eating all the plant matter, reducing oxygen production, and increasing by carbon dioxide (respiration) and methane (farts) gases in the atmosphere, thus beginning the global warming process, which resulted in the melting of glaciers, and the ice caps, as we are presently seeing now. Which gave then gave rise to increased volcanic activity. 2. When I was a child the theory of the dinosaurs extinction was believed to be from volcanic activity (see: Deccan traps: dinosaur extinction) and I believe it, and will explain as we are presently entering the same process. 3. The ice cap on Antarctica was gone at the time of the K/T extinction. 4. The atmosphere was steamy (a hotter atmosphere holds more moisture, according to the law of gases which states, “as the temperature of a gas increases, its ability to absorb and retain moisture will increase proportionally.) 5. After the dinosaurs died the Earth went into a long series of “glacier cycles” that were the result of plants over producing Oxygen, and no animal life around to balance the ecological process. (This is the same process plants produced early in the earth’s history, which led to the rise of oxygen breathing organisms. See: Snowball Earth theory) 6. The heating of the earth’s oceans was the true cause of the K/T extinction. Phytoplankton produces an estimated 70% of the world’s oxygen, but it cannot reproduce in warm ocean temperatures. During the K/T extinction 9 species of phytoplankton went extinct, due to over warm ocean temperatures. This and deforestation on land produced an Oxygen depletion problem, and an ozone depletion problem, which gave rise to the development feathers, and hair to protect the skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation (And bees, whom see in UV spectrum of light developed during this period) 7. Eventually the lack of oxygen in the atmosphere suffocated all animals over 22lbs. and the oceans starved and suffocated as a result of phytoplankton not being able to reproduce. During these times of Oxygen depletion, 8. The Iridium layer(s) were generated, by space debris falling into the atmosphere, which could not vaporize due to the lack of available oxygen. (It is only oxygen that allows things to burn and vaporize) And this created the worldwide iridium layer, and tektites, created from superheated space debris that is constantly falling into the atmosphere. 9. Further, Ms. Wendy Wolbach found that several areas of the K/T boundary contained large amounts of Charcoal, and soot that sit over the top of the Iridium extinction layer. These were produced as a result of oxygen producing forests bursting into flames, when hit by superheated molten space debris that could not vaporize in the oxygen depleted atmosphere. Proof of this fact is found in that charcoal is only produced in an oxygen depleted environment. And the soot layer, I’m betting, is more toward the top of the K/T layer, produced when oxygen was more present in the atmosphere to allow a more complete burn. 10. The timing of the Yellowstone cave in, which produced the Yellowstone caldera, matches the timing of the disappearing Antarctic ice caps, the Deccan lava flows, and the closing of the Yellowstone caldera matches the reforming of the Antarctic ice cap 500,000,000 years ago. The Deccan lava flows, and other volcanic activity in the southern hemisphere, apparently created a suction effect, which caused the Yellowstone caldera to cave in. There is much more that I could say in this chapter. But just wish to write a convincing article on the subject, and I believe that is enough.

There's some confusion about the voting process during the finalist phase. In an email I got from Climate CoLab with an error in the voting period date: " **The voting period has now started! See below for important details about public voting, which runs from now until midnight Eastern Time, on March 31, 2015.** " also, the voting rules state the following: "Anyone (over the age of 18) can vote by registering on the Climate CoLab website and clicking "Vote for plan" on the proposal page... ...The number of people "supporting" a proposal will not automatically be added to votes. People who have previously "supported" a proposal will also need to select "Vote for proposal" in order have their choice counted." But, when people visit my proposal there appears to only be a "Support" button. No "Vote for plan" button. Can someone please comment on these issues? Thanks!

The problem with renewable energy is its intermittency and and inability to provide Base Load Power (BLP)as and when required. The only viable alternative is Space Solar Power which USA, India, China and Japan are hoping to deploy over the next 10-20 years. See:

Making a metaphoric comparison with the intention to expose it more clearly for a better comprehension of this innovative technical detail, it would be similar to the trajectory and motion of a dynamic flow compared with a rope (extended) that passes through the system would have now a knot (without obstructing the flow), so the complete way of the flow at the imploturbocompresor system have three direct ways and between make two different turns; direct way (entrance) - turn - direct way (implocavity) - turn - direct way (exit), all this in a 1 simple circular move system concept.

Just as an update: 


We have been working with groups like the Fusion Energy League and the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab to build out articles on fusion power plants.  It is a start.  It would have been nice if MIT had not shut down this proposal, because this contest gave us a focal point to organize around.  Beyond this, the possibility of securing funding would also help things - from being able to pay graphic artists, to offering small awards for well written Wikipedia edits and improvements. 

I think the judges misunderstood the importance of fusion power, this proposal and how public education is mission critical if we want to see fusion funding turn around.  Concepts like magneto-interial fusion, magnetized target fusion and field reverse configurations have languished and struggled over the past 20 years due a lack of funding, awareness and information.

Meanwhile, machines like ITER and NIF have received the lions share of the funding due to our collective ignorance of any alternatives.  Today, we know that ITER or ITER-based power plants are not on a commercial path (a 50 billion dollar price tag?) and that will effect fusions ability to help the world deal with climate change.  Ironically, this is happening at a time when doing fusion has become so simple a teenager can do it in his basement.
