What should be the world’s plan to address climate change?

This contest seeks broad, coherent visions for what the world as a whole should do about climate change. Proposals in this contest include one regional plan for each of the six regions: China, India, the United States, Europe, other developing countries, and other developed countries. You are also asked to run a simplified computer simulation model to estimate the overall greenhouse gas emission reductions that would result from the combination of the regional plans you select. You can work with the Impact Assessment Fellows to develop these estimates.  The computer simulation will also project the likely impacts of these emission reductions on global temperatures.  Proposals in this contest will be evaluated on how well they bring together regional plans to articulate a comprehensive and feasible vision for how the world can effectively address climate change.
