Thw project is a welcome step and in tune with the demands of the times we live in. It will be a great service if the youth can be empowered to address the looming energy deficit that can cripple the progress of humanity in the coming decades. I wholeheartedly support this initiative.

Thanks for your support H K Nair! We all need to work together as the target cannot be achieved only by a person or a small group. It needs a mass movement to make it successful especially in a country like India. Thank you once again..

Dear Vishal Bhavsar, Thanks for your message. As you have rightly said, there is synergy between a few proposals. It is basically to change the attitude and behavior of the people. So it can be done in different ways as mentioned in few of the proposals. Combining all these efforts is what required, for which, we all should come together and work by making it a mass awareness movement. As India's population is 2nd largest in the world, a small change achieved can actually create a great impact in addressing the issue of climate change. Thank you..

Thank you for your contest entry. We have looked at your proposal and found that it contained intriguing elements; however, it does not address the contest prompt. We encourage you to review the contest resources page and to keep developing your idea before the August 31 deadline. You can also transfer your proposal to a more relevant contest or to the Proposal Workspace to re-open it, make edits, add collaborators, and even submit it into a future contest. You can do so by logging into your account, opening your proposal, selecting the Admin tab, and clicking “Move proposal” or “Copy proposals”. Reach out to us if you have any questions about how to complete your proposal. All the best, 2015 Climate CoLab Fellows Remarks: The proposal deals with training students to become ambassadors, termed as Urja Rakshaks, for energy conservation. Certainly students can be wonderful as change agents and successes in India have proven so. It would be productive to examine the institutional networking that could be established and examine what are the other ongoing programs, such as national green corps/eco clubs/ Akshay urja diwas/ competitions by BEE for school children to see potential synergies. The innovative elements need to be clearly established.
