Dear Dan, Thanks for your proposal to the Climate CoLab. I'm one of the catalysts, helping provide comments and feedback, in an effort to help strengthen proposals. Thanks for your proposal on awareness raising ideas for use of electric cars. A few questions/prompts you may wish to address in your proposal: A) Why do you propose an awareness campaign to promote obtaining a second car that is an electric vehicle, rather than a campaign aimed at promoting use of electric vehicles as one's primary car? What are the implications of such a proposal in an urban area where traffic, parking and air pollution issues are already of concern? B) You may wish to focus your description on developing specific proposals of how one could begin to raise awareness and promote use of electric cars. You list several throughout your proposal, but you may wish to write it as though you were making a concrete proposal "pitch" for specific action steps that could be taken. C) You'll want to be sure to address how this campaign would help influence the theme of this contest, shaping attitudes and behavior on climate. Thanks for your contributions to the CoLab!

Hello, Thanks for the proposal. The real challenge in urban centres is too much of vehicles. I like the idea of promoting use of electric vehicles. Few suggestions: a. Considering the contest theme you could think of integrating the concepts of pedestrian, cycle track and multimodal public transport to make conventional fuel vehicle redundant. b. Second aspect you can look is how are the development happening on policy development side. If progressive changes are made, market players would act to make this happen. Thanks for your proposal. All the best! Regards, Vishal
