Hello, I could go through the proposal. I could not clearly find what happens to the information collated from different users. Will there be analytics models that would predict and give information to the users and also predict users that could face any future impacts. Regards, Vishal

Hello, Yes we have on one side a profesional platform to analyse and detect the alerts and automatic etction of events (a number of alerts reaching a specific threshold that the user defines on the area he is monitoring and on the other side a public platform open to everybody where people can see the alert they have sent and those of other users. The area of visibility the themes of alerts are defined by the user/client. Take a look at the video presented at World Conference for Disasters Risk reduction in Sendai Japan in March 2015: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSy0iGG_IEY

Hello, Thanks for your proposal to the Climate CoLab. I'm one of the catalysts, helping provide comments and feedback to proposals, in an effort to help strengthen them. This is an interesting proposal and app, with the potential to serve as a useful tool in spreading awareness, information, and enhancing disaster risk reduction response and effectiveness. A few suggestions to build on your proposal: 1. Move the link for the app up to the first sentence of your description, so people can know what you are talking about right away. 2. Add information to the references section, and additional resources/data on how the app works, what information it collects, and any statistics on its effectiveness on outcomes. 3. Add a description of how you are building awareness of and increasing usage of the app, and where. Marketing and outreach plans, etc. 4. A bit of editing is needed in the summary section. Thanks for your contribution.
