I am of the opinion that this is a good initiative and if all countries and its people follow thru then we can improve the conditions the conditions for our future generations. som of the things to consider are mentioned below: 1. Focus on those people and organisations who fully accept the reality of climate challenge and want to do more to deal with it in their own lives will be of utmost importance. 2.Educate the masses thru seminars, training programs, TV shows etc. 3.Assist people to change certain so called 'habits' that can directly have impact to climate change. 4. Create policies at National level that will have government support for organisations/institutions who want to assist in delivering the message to the masses and as well the local authorities will have a guideline to enforce it among the public. 5. There has to be a law to make somethings a must to do or else there will be fine imposed.

This proposal can bring in paradigm shift in the mind set of younger generation.India has a rich biodiversity reserve and if efforts are taken as a campaign, described here , it will definitely help in creating safe and sustainable natural resources. School children are good messengers and Vidnyan Bharti has rightly tapped their potential for creating a awareness and action. With this effort these kids will become responsible citizens of future .

This is a great initiative. As we are working towards a great AIM, we need to educate our children, encourage them and they will definitely take it forward with better strength.

Understanding the need of a person to live a happy -healthy-peaceful-purposeful life. I think simplicity is the key, and to be simple means be one with thought-words-deeds n actions not to destroy the ecosystem for the sake of so called development, in any area from agriculture to way of our living the use of hazardous chemicals , radiations, ..creating .. so need to think about the needs of a person-society-nation-nations..for all not just for others

This is a good idea. The work done by: 1. JUCCCE in China on Dream in A Box to change attitudes and behaviour around consumption and by 2. Chris Rose and others to enable Greenpeace and many other organisations to become more effective shows that this works. I am only sorry that I am too late to submit a proposal! thanks Catherine

This is a great contest idea but I felt so depressed that I just find out about it. I have been working on the research topic of the use of computer mediated communication in attitude and behavior change toward sustainable lifestyle. I hope I have participated in the contest. Anyway, thumb up! Looking forward to vote for the great proposals in the contest.
