Nice idea for a community service type program requirement for college students. Would be useful to have a core curriculum for the college student to use when instructing the primary/high school students. I'm sure something like that exists which could be tailored to the individual location. Might be better to link with campus based student organizations instead of trying to get requirements into a formal university degree
The idea of tapping the energy, imagination, creativity and enthusiasm of young people is great. This proposal does not provide any detail at all so is hard to judge. How would this improve on or augment existing efforts among youth and students? Why should they do internships rather than be paid for their work (I am generally not in favor of unpaid internships by students in any field).
