Pitch

30% ROI by attaching solar panels to electric polls because direct current, less labour, existing infrustrutour, better angels.

Description

Summary

What if there was a way to get 30% return on investment from solar energy for cities. Well it might be possible if we were to attach solar panels to electricity poles. The advantage is direct flow into houses (+20%) the ability of solar panels to be positioned for maximum sun usage (+20%), mass production (10%), already made infrastructure (20%). If I was a bank I would definitely invest in such numbers and returns so the money is there. Imagine how this could help a cities budget.

Category of the action

Reducing emissions from electric power sector.

What actions do you propose?

Who will take these actions?

Cities that have the permission to these poles although they may want to rent out this right to private investors.

Where will these actions be taken?

These action can even be taken in more cloudy cities witch will still make decent returns on investments

How much will emissions be reduced or sequestered vs. business as usual levels?

This idea will not work for many places such as areas that have tall buildings or too much shade it will typically work in urban neighborhoods.

What are other key benefits?

Can't beat 30% return on investment.

What are the proposal’s costs?
