Pitch

A unmanned submarine on the ocean floor, shooting high pressured water into a turbine.

Description

Summary

The UPD will simply drift down to the ocean floor, and once it gets down there, it will start the process.  It has a opening valve which opens to let a stream of high pressured water in, powering the turbine by hitting the top of the wheel and sending it spinning. The valve then shuts off, stopping the stream of water. The water is then ejected from the submarine by a series of valves (Like double doors letting the used water in, shutting of the first one, then letting it out the second one, where it disperses.), which then starts the cycle over.

Category of the action

Reducing emissions from electric power sector.

What actions do you propose?

Making one of these, And maybe more!

Who will take these actions?

Anyone willing.

Where will these actions be taken?

The ocean floor.

How much will emissions be reduced or sequestered vs. business as usual levels?

It will supply us with a new way to get energy without using up space we would normally use.

What are other key benefits?

We could see more of what is down there.

What are the proposal’s costs?

$ 250. Around there. Anyone else with numbers can tell me.
