Hi, I really like this proposal. I had never given rainfall harvesting much thought. I live in Toronto, Canada and a few years ago there was a major downpour of rain in the area where I live. A lot of basements were flooded.  I think if houses had systems such as this it could have helped stop a lot of the damage. It's nice to see how much effort you put into this and your other proposals. All the best.

The innovative component of this proposal appears to be the detailed designs provided rather than the mere idea of rainwater harvesting (which is well known, and is practiced in several places). The key question, then, pertains to the comparative costs of this technology (relative to other harvesting systems available in the market), and the ease with which communities and cities in developing countries can adapt and manage it. More details on these dimensions would be most helpful.
