The judges felt that this project has the potential to empower youth political participation, especially given the tie-in with Olympic media coverage.

Although not extremely original, the idea is very good, the proposal is well organized and well-articulated. The solution proposed is feasible, and has the merit of aspiring to involve various strata of the community and a large number of citizens through personal engagement. In addition, the project stresses the importance of young generations and has a long term engagement.

Two developments since the previous round that bear on ENGAJAMUNDO:

1. Beef consumption: -- Recommend learning from the recent news about Chinas reduction goals in beef consumption. Use the massive and positive global response (from environmentalists, health officials, etc.) to bolster your campaign. -- As well, please provide a credible snapshot of how important beef industry is to Brazilian economy. (Very important, I assume.) How can you engage this established financial sector?

2. Zika: -- Huge global threat posed by Zika, which has been linked to global warming and which is an opportunity for ENGAJAMUNDO. Research this, cover it, and offer a position on it so ENGAJAMUNDO community know you are all over it and can follow you for updates as appropriate.

The time line seems too extended. Focus on the immediate future, i.e. the next three to six months and not to miss the Rio Olympics opportunity! -- and onward from there.

Thank you for your submission to the Climate CoLab.

Judge 1:
This proposal is well organized and articulated, and appears feasible. Additionally, it has the merit of aspiring to involve various strata of the community and a large number of citizens through personal engagement. In addition, the project stresses the importance of young generations and has a long term engagement.

Judge 2:
This proposal is exciting, fun, focused, and already energetically underway. Engajamundo is a well thought-out, methodically supported movement focused on a key segment (Millennials) of an important population (Brazil). I am impressed by your perspective on the successful behavior change underway* -- and others will be as well. It’s the opening chapter to a powerful, shareable story: *“We see the changes through the testimonies and attitudes of volunteers who claim to have changed everyday actions related to meat consumption, political participation and urban mobility among others. This is the type of evolution of behavioral norms that we want to continue to incentivize.” Building off these early successes is key. You will want to test and try different approaches to see what excites and engages your followers fastest and most vigorously. Then, be sure to share your findings with like-minded organizations, via media and content channels. Keep good track of your evolving expertise on shifting behavior that can be applied elsewhere in the word – and quickly! I am impressed that you are already partnering with helpful organizations, e.g. a member of the Observatorio do Clima. You will discover lots of additional like-minded entities. Maybe you can get something going for the summer Olympics! Go for it!!

Thank you all so much for the support and contributions. We from ENGAJAMUNDO are so happy to be part of the Climate Colab Shifting Behavior for a Changing Climate. We have the consciousness that the young people across Brazil and across the world have the power to make things even better. Related to Judge 2, we are already planning to create some capacity buildings during the Summer Olympics Games and  in our proposal we will create a schedule of actions starting by August, month of the Olympics games. We can't lose all the media coverage during the games here in Brazil, and it will be amazing to reach more and more young people.

ENGAJAMUNDO is a Brazilian Organization and the word “ENGAJAMUNDO” in English means “ENGAGING THE WORLD”.  We are prepared to spread our message by creating a mini documentary about all the capacity buildings we made in this process. We want to share it with to young across the planet, and certainly we'll. Because  we are young and, as Raquel Rosenberg said at the ending plenary of the COP21.

- We are unstoppable, another world is possible!

Thanks again for the imputs.

1. Beef Comsuption. Judge Thank you for the recommendation, we will study about China's process on this issue. It is really important to us because Brasil is one of the largest consumers and beef producers in the world, we have more head of cattle than people in our country. And of course it impact on deforestation, land use, water and greenhouse gases emissions.

2. Zika. The zika Virus is a problem that is already on the Engajamundo's agenda of actions. There's no way to separate climate change and the increase in temperature with the proliferation of Zika virus here in Brazil and Latin America. We are handling it, and we will continue fighting against the mosquito.

We won't miss the opportunity to address the raised questions in our proposal during the Summer Olympics Games in Rio. We just need you all to believe in our capacity of changing our reality. We are hopeful!

Best Regards Ever.
