One major concern the global campaign that farmers should not be planting to feed machines while the people are hungry. This concern is in place, and the proposal considers to respond to this. To tackle this concern, the project will ensure that it introduces a variety of cassava that has high starch content and is appropriate for ethanol production. Cassava farmers will be supported to grow more farms and sell or eat some, and ensure that there is a steady and reliable supply of feedstock.
