If we do not find a sustainable resource for clean cooking, all the forest will disappear within a decade. I feel that cassava-nol will also help the poor adapt to climate shocks.

This concern is in place, and the proposal considers to respond to this. To tackle this concern, the project will ensure that it introduces a variety of cassava that has high starch content and is appropriate for ethanol production. Cassava farmers will be supported to grow more farms and sell or eat some, and ensure that there is a steady and reliable supply of feedstock. |
