May I add that there are several clean cook stove programs running in Ethiopia and Kenya, these clean cookstoves produce no smoke, causing black lung and emphysema in women and children. One of the most important is run in Kenya bye the African Christian organization Network. These clean stoves are 40% more efficient so need less biomass and produce biochar for carbon soil sequestration

There is also a program being run with the Maasai tribe in Kenya bye a website named soil for climate. This involves the teaching of holistic grazing methods a paddock management system which treats cattle and other farm animals as a predator would treat them, moving them quickly and limiting their grazing to stimulate the grasses root emissions of carbon sugars building massive microbe and fungus populations in the soil and therefore soil carbon content
