EduClima by EduClima
Pitch
Help the farmers of the future in the Andes to prepare for the impact of the climate change
Description
Summary
Vision: For the farmer of the future in emerging markets it becomes a challenge to deal with the effects of climate change, in addition to the fact that he/she has to produce more than his/her parents. In the next years, the impact of these effects will continue to increase.
Mission: Through the EduClima program, we want to teach -in 5 years- 2.5 million students from 50.000 rural primary schools in emerging markets about climate and climate change. An internet-connected climate station will play an important role in achieving this. This station has a production cost of less then € 200, while the internet connectivity costs are € 3/year.
