Hi Huadesoong,

Thanks for submitting the proposal to climatecolab and for the detailed explanation. Your proposal sounds interesting to me, I have the following questions.

  1. I think you will have to prepare an estimate of costs here based on materials used for its construction because when we talk about these mega structures there is always a possibility of the construction cost far exceeding the benefits it could produce?
  2. Since this technology is mostly suitable for a skyscraper city, how can it benefit smaller buildings?
  3. What all challenges could this technology face in clearing construction clearances in different countries?

Thanks & regards

Aadhithya

Hi Aadhithya
Thank you!
1. My calculation example is based on: border + rope + diaphragm structure, no living function.the calculation results surprised me. Other structures, including living function, in the external wall of the wind, has not been calculated, because from the atmosphere Physics point of view the results have not yet, can not design evaluation, however, more than 600m of the building are more and more, not using high altitude wind energy is a huge waste, I think so.
2. This project is huge, facing the future, small buildings use intermittent wind energy points already have been to do, see the details of reference NO7: INVELOX
3. This super building can bring additional benefits to the city, including cool breeze, blowing fog haze, should be able to influence the city manager on clearing construction clearances
