Efficiency is 30-40% higher than standard Inventor air conditioners. For SAC, all parts are plastic except for the electric motor and wires.

Summary

The SA-conditioner  cools and heats by separaiting air without using heaters or cooling radiators. The materials for the production are fewer times, so the new type of SA-conditioner is few times cheaper than old one.

Prototipe is working on 12V DC.

Lower cost of production and lower energy consumption are the benefits of the new kind of SA-conditioner .

Thanks to them, it is possible to save a lot of energy.
Also, the low value of the product allows for favorable SA-conditioner for more people. The SA-conditioner is much cleaner than standard air conditioners, which can reduce the harmful effects of industrial air pollution.


Who will take these actions?

Lower cost, higher energy efficiency will impose a new kind of SA-conditioner on the market. I think, the idea will find producers who would realize this product.


Where will these actions be taken?

An SA-conditioner can replace any standard inverter air conditioners anywhere. Because of the larger dimensions, SA-conditioner are difficult to apply to cars.

What impact will these actions have on greenhouse gas emissions and/or adapting to climate change?

The SA-conditioner is 30-40% more efficient than the invertor air conditioners. Theoretically replacing standard invertor air conditioners with a SA-conditioner will reduce power consumption by 30-40%. But that is not entirely true. The lower cost of an SA-conditioner will make it more affordable. It is possible that even the aggregate energy used for air conditioning will increase thanks to the larger number of SA-conditioners that will work.

What are the proposal’s projected costs?

SA-conditioner is 3 times cheaper than an inverter air conditioner with the same power.

Air conditioners are nice when the noise of them does not exceed 10-12 dB. Thus the noise limits air velocity. The power of the SA-conditioner depends on the volume and velocity of the flow. Thus, the new SA-conditioners are 3-5 times more voluminous than the old air conditioners. .


Timeline

Cheap low-energy SA-conditioners can significantly improve the quality of life in poorer areas of the planet.

Related Proposals

SA-conditioners are born from the Black Pavilion Project. In Black Pavilion the effect of convection is the natural ventilation for cooling the building. The same principles are used for SA-conditioning, but the natural propulsion of the air is assisted by electric motors. This significantly reduces volume.

SA-conditioner are suitable for integration into buildings with central air conditioning. SA-conditioner can use alternative sources of any mechanical  energy, avoiding the use of electric current.
