The Farm to Food Forest Project in the Rural Plains of Canada and the U.S. by FarmToFoodForesters

I believe afforestation would play a big role in removal of co2 from the atmosphere and infact in combating climate change. However there is need to critically consider swapping farm for forest; what about food scarcity? Will the forest crops yield enough to meet the already scarce food supply? world population is already putting stress on the available resources. Efforts to reduce greenhouse gases should not necessarily be a threat to food availability. If there could be a way to manage these, then farm to forest could be one of the ways to go.
