This proposal is a form of geo-engineering; it suggests that if anywhere and everywhere in the world engineered hard infrastructure it could control and channel floodwaters to generate power. It does not address any of the challenges in terms of the massive costs of built infrastructures, the massive damages inflicted on same by floods and the increasing likelihood of more extreme events in future which makes massive built infrastructure more vulnerable. The proposal isn't well thought through and so we selected to not advance it.
