BRUSSELS, January 17, 2019, 15:41 - Over 10 thousand Belgian schoolers missed their lessons to join the environmental protection march, the Associated Press reported on January 17.

Even rain and cold weather did not stop the students: the action in Brussels gathered more people than last week. The management of many educational institutions reacted to this action with understanding.

The education system should turn young people into mature citizens and by their actions, they proved that they already are - said the director of one of the local schools, Patrick Lanksverdt.

I highly support this mood among young people and even wrote about this case on my blog.
