Pitch

The climate crisis is not just a worldly or economic problem. It is a moral problem that is tainting millions of souls.

Description

Summary

Gramma and Grampa's greenhouse gas emissions are on track to bring death and destruction to innocent people and ecosystems. Inflicting death, pain, and suffering on the innocent is grounds for damnation.

There are two possible ways to avoid that fate. The first option is the easier one: Gramma and Grampa can repent. Acknowledge the accuracy of the science, acknowledge the harm that their greenhouse gas emissions have caused and will cause, and sincerely repent. Begin doing what they can to redress the harm.

The alternative is much harder. If Gramma and Grandpa refuse to recognize the significance of their actions, they are doomed unless the rest of us can fix things so that their emissions won't cause major harm. If the rest of us can take the heroic actions needed to neutralize Gramma and Grampa's emissions, the rest of us can save Gramma and Grampa from themselves that way.
