What can be done to increase the efficiency of rain enhancement in UAE and around the world?

In January 2017, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Program for Rain Enhancement Science opened a call for researchers, scientists, and technologists to submit proposals on how to advance the science and technology of rain enhancement globally.

Although the UAE Program’s official call is currently closed, students of the 2017 MIT and Masdar Institute Cooperative Program are now invited to develop, collaborate, and receive feedback on their own proposals for this challenge.

Students may submit proposals for any kind of action that could increase the delivery and/or efficiency of rain enhancement in UAE and/or around the world, including, but not limited to new potential research areas, technologies, applications of existing technologies, national or international policies, and evaluative and modeling techniques.

Studying an effect of salt powder seeding used for precipitation enhancement from convective clouds to obtain the optimal salt powder.
Build man-made mountains in both arid and semi-arid areas. This will increase the rainfall across the desert regions.
Experiment the rain making bacteria to test the natures ability to make clouds with bacterium by cultivating it in a specific location
combination of current cloud seeding method in the UAE and land modification to produce more clouds for more rainwater.
LCD method consists mainly of spraying liquid carbonic acid at extremely low temperatures to induce more precipitation from rain clouds.
Using pollen as a natural hygroscopic material instead of harmful chemicals to act as a cloud condensation nuclei for rain enhancement.
Using unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for autonomous cloud seeding to achieve a faster ,reliable and safe cloud seeding in UAE.
The proposal suggest using Bayesian networks to build a probabilistic prediction model using historical data.
More exhaust gases from fuel burning mean more air pollution, more air pollution means less rain.
Optimizing the type and the size of the aerosol material based on the atmospheric conditions and temperature
