The same old-world system that is fuelling our global crises is also suppressing our abundance of whole-systems solutions!

Description

Summary

The main reason this failing and old-world system is still being tolerated and supported by the “general public” rests heavily on the facts that most people believe that we are powerless to change the system. The primary cause for this prevailing and disempowering cultural myth is that the public are completely uninformed about the existing wealth of common sense solutions and alternative models, and the vast and inspiring global transformation movement that is developing, testing and sharing them.

The Solution Revolution are global citizen-led and synchronised street, park and village events that are dedicated to showcasing, learning about and celebrating our abundance and diversity of:

  • ecological solutions
  • social & technological innovations
  • ancient & emerging wisdom
  • alternative political, economic & financial model

Is this proposal for a practice or a project?

Practice

What actions do you propose?

  • Imagine the Occupy Movement, Arab Spring, M-15, the anti-corruption movements, the climate marches etc. all combined?—?but with one fundamental difference : We are NOT protesting against the old systems or the countless symptoms of these systems, instead we are building a global co-learning community and network around identifying, showcasing and publicly reviewing all holistic solutions and alternative models.
  • All events/manifestations (parades, festivals, concerts, expositions, meditations, artworks, flashmobs, workshops, conscious cinema etc.) are:
~ aligned and connected through the core purpose (above) and the proposed principles (below).
~ locally self-organised by resonant people, communities and projects.
~ supported by a global network of changemakers specialising in (transdisciplinary) collaboration, solutions education, conscious evolution and systemic transition.
  • To support our global and local collective manifestation power we are sharing, gathering, co~creating and synthesizing all maps, directories and web-based collaboration tools that are related to social and ecological regeneration, onto a unified yet distributed and open-source database.
  • We are using a geo-social network called Coe? to facilitate local connections and coordinated actions. (The Solution Revolution platform is coming soon!)
  • No matter how small your event you are invited to livestream or film it as part of a globally co~creative and historic documentary.
  • The location and duration of each event is decided by the organisers and participants. Peace villages and solutions camps could emerge on common land.

If you go to one demonstration, and then go home, the people in power can live with that. What they can’t live with is sustained pressure that keeps building, people that keep learning lessons from last time and doing it better the next time.
~ Noam Chomsky

Who will take these actions?

This is a citizen-led movement with new paradigm and solutionary organisations holding space for coherence and integrity.

We will build mainstream support and confidence by reverse-engineering trusted spheres of influence. Pioneering groups are already unifying and attracting wider spheres through resonant academic faculties and institutions, conscious leaders, international organisations, regenerative businesses, indigenous Wisdom Councils, progressive celebrities etc. The idea is to grow and steward the movement through synergistic networks of trust, wisdom and whole-systems awareness.

Where will these actions be taken?

All actions/events (parades, festivals, concerts, expositions, meditations, artworks, flashmobs, workshops, conscious cinema etc.) are globally aligned and supported and are locally self-organised in streets, parks and villages by resonant people, communities and projects.

In addition, specify the country or countries where these actions will be taken.

Romania

Country 2

Canada

Country 3

Nicaragua

Country 4

Botswana

Country 5

Vietnam

Impact/Benefits

What impact will these actions have on greenhouse gas emissions and/or adapting to climate change?

By identifying, showcasing and reviewing ALL the world's best solutions we, all movement participants, can inspire massive global support for systemic change, thereby addressing the root cause of our cultural and ecological dysfunction.

It is well understood by global changemakers that we already have the solutions to most of our ecological, social, economic and political challenges.

Our task is to co-create the cultural condition for these solutions to find their deserved public recognition and material support to be taken to scale.

What are other key benefits?

A whole-systems transformation of human society will allow all of humanity to co-create a world with wise and evolving social systems and technologies that ensure every human being’s basic needs are met, and that empower each of us to be free and supported in pursuing our passions and interests, while we collectively learn how to thrive in harmony with each other, our fellow creatures and our natural environment.

Costs/Challenges

What are the proposal’s projected costs?

Global solutions-awareness raising and systemic change can be achieved entirely through the economy of gifting. However, financial input, especially when directed towards the evolutionary leadership, can greatly accelerate the process.

Timeline

Within 15 years we can co-create the world described above in the key benefits. We are on the verge of a cultural and evolutionary quantum leap. As more and more groups come into alignment around this embodiment of cooperation and sharing, so will our global reality shift exponentially. Naturally the transition period will still be designed for maximum inclusivity and minimum inconvenience to the public.

Related Proposals

This proposal was triggered by the Climate Colab Judge's Choice 2016 Net Zero Foundation.

Rick Clemenzi responded to my article on the Solution Revolution stating very clearly "The only remaining “energy” issues involve “ill-informed engineers and willful obstructionists”, with the willful obstructionists basically being the fossil fuel industry owners?."

The centralization of power and money within our social systems are causing escalating levels of corruption, profiteering, abuse of power, and a widening disconnection between elected leadership and the true welfare (and potential) of the people and planet. Thus the system itself has become our biggest obstacle to the implementation of the solutions that we already have.
