Hello!
congratulations for the very well written/presented and thought through project proposal.
As designer with cross-sectorial experience I'm deeply convinced of the power of design for social change.
It was a pleasure reading it. Thank you.

What came to my mind, when reading about majority behavior, is a Wim Wenders' quote which I'll share with you:

The most political decision you make is where you direct people’s eyes. In other words, what you show people, day in and day out, is political... And the most politically indoctrinating thing you can do to a human being is to show him, every day, that there can be no change.

A reading recommendation - Design, when everybody designs (Ezio Manzini).
I'm sure you'll find more inspiration for your idea!

Good luck!

Petra

Congratulations! This is a great proposal, bold and well-presented. I like the idea of using design thinking to drive change. Data together with art, like intellect with emotion, is a powerful brew that can set off passion that leads to action. Perhaps more discussions on how design and the use of social media are linked to action. But this proposal is already a very good start.  Best wishes on this endeavor!

Congratulations! This is an excellent proposal! This is applicable to the type of audience (millennials) we have nowadays. Climate change should definitely be promoted by innovation and creativity to change the "I do not care" mentality. I hope this is the first to step that change. Good luck!

This is a very interesting proposal. I can tell that you have thought about this a lot. Creativity is a great approach to this problem.

I was so excited about the website I tried to go there, then remembered that it's probably not up yet...

However, I do suggest a change - nothing big, just the pronouns used in your description of the account on your website. Perhaps in order to acknowledge all genders you could change "his" to "their" and so on?

Again, I LOVE your idea. Good Luck!

Nora

The idea is great!

Change in mind should result in change in actions! If mind change doesn't bring forth action change then it means heart was not involved.

We need to grow peace and happiness in achieving the task of loving nature. We need to feel, practice share and learn as well as earn from this approach. Earning a living through a route is the easiest of all the ways in growing interest. A bit of food for the stomach and a share of peace. The joy you are alive be felt through hope shinning through nature's eyes. This is my little bit of suggestion. I have more in mind and would love to chat. :) Thank you!

Where is the content of the proposal? I do not see anything in the "Description" section at the moment.

Hello to you,

Unless the proposal is posted somewhere else, I have to admit that I can't see it anywhere, I can only see the title and the pitch, nothing else. There is an impact assessment, but I wonder how it has been calculated, with what data I mean, since there is nothing really in the main body of the proposal. I wonder how the 5 other commentators judge this proposal so positively without any data. Should the rest Catalyst feel excluded from the whole proposal?

Anyway, best luck to your project.

Hi, I also can't see the proposal. Only the pitch is available here.
