Judges'' comments
A well written proposal. The applicants is building on an already existing program which sounds to have some good track record. The highlight of the proposal is the material exchange program within the community. If successful it will have a significant impact in reducing GHG emissions within the community. However, the project budget might not be sufficient to achieve all project objectives.A better articulation of the business return for SMEs is required.
Good momentum Ontario env minister's riding is Durham (!)
Unsure of their path to scalability.
Potential for impact in advising SMEs with GHG reductions however it is unclear how this can be scaled with only minimal dollars directed toward the marketing of the program.
