The proposal is a pilot project based on what seems to be a very strong technology of fecal-sludge management (FSM) with self evaporation, combined with a comprehensive survey of users in urban settings specific environment. This technology has the potential to address an acute triple problem : human health, water scarcity and environmental pollution/ loss of potential agro-nutrients. It is a potential life changer for millions of people, an environment game changer, and could expand business opportunities. The tentative business numbers in the proposal need to be completed, refined and confirmed, including the two following questions : 1/ licensing the possible patent and 2/ possibility to build the device locally.

Very good proposal, with good rationale, well-established partnerships, convincing use of dry toilet technology and the possibility of sustainability through business opportunities.
There is a need to elaborate on how the toilets work, for example, what technology will be employed to dehydrate the sewage? Elaborate more on the technology itself - including a graphic on how it works would be useful too.
The costing of the project is not clear. A feasibility study should be also undertaken to assess the feasibility of costing and impacts. This would strengthen the proposal.
This proposal addresses the critical topic of improving sanitation that has enormous benefits to education, health and livelihoods. While the proposal of using the iThrone is interesting it could do more to discuss the maintenance issues and obstacles of the replaceable evaporative pouch and the toilet as a whole. Key to the successful implementation will also be community trust in investing in this device and using it - this could be better addressed. Solving the sanitation challenge is critical, but there are many political, social and economic obstacles that need careful consideration.
