This is a solid agroecology proposal, however, it would benefit from further explanation on what makes its implementation innovative. Agroecology programs are not uncommon across Africa and while many are successful they often have difficulty reaching scale due to the lack of incentives for farmers and the fact that the first few years of switching to an approach often sees a reduction in income compared to business as usual intensification. This proposal is interesting, but could be helped by explaining what separates it from other agroecology approaches and how it will address the many political, social and economic barriers of implementing agroecology on a wider scale.
