Join a group of Democrats (working class liberals) who believe the end of cheap oil and natural gas and global climate change will result in an extreme disaster. I hope we can link up with other like minded people in other countries of Earth. 1. There are no sustainable energy sources that will rescue us at our current population levels and so we must ethically reduce our population and HOW we reduce it is a question for civil society. 2. Population reduction must be a part of any plan to rationally deal with peak oil (the end of cheap oil, natural gas, and coal), global climate change, biological/species decline, and natural resource depletion. 3. Global climate change will only be mitigated with extremely stringent emissions policies that reduce consumption rates and this must be done before fossil fuels are depleted. By Christopher S. Rugaber AP Economics Writer Sept. 15, 2012: The FED plans to spend $40 billion a month to buy mortgage bonds to make home buying more affordable. It also pledged to keep short-term interest rates near zero through at least mid-2015. The Fed's previous rounds of bond-buying pushed up commodity prices and fueled greater inflation. That weakened the ability of U.S. consumers to spend and likely slowed growth. mY COMMENT: What this really means is workers will get a pay-cut until they go on strike and retirement savings in the banks will decrease 2% as the FED makes money worth less and another 2 to 3 percent due to inflation. So if you have money in the bank, you are giving the banksters 4 percent a year to keep your money in their safe. The bottom line is capitalism is dead because there is no longer any cheap oil. In addition we are facing water shortages, and we are at peak rare minerals, and peak top soil on which to grow our food. As sea level rises due to global warming more farmland will go under the sea. http://enidnews.com/state/x1059022065/Rising-gas-prices-crimp-Americans-spending What the economic crisis really mean - challenges http://www.linkedin.com/groupAnswers?viewQuestionAndAnswers&discussionID=161436950&gid=100316&commentID=95228493&goback=.gmp_100316&trk=NUS_DISC_Q-subject#commentID_95228493
