The national/regional plan platform does not actually have space for describing the author's standalone plan.

The national/regional plan platform does not actually have space for describing the author's standalone plan. In that, it seems that CoLab is asking us to build a plan using past work of our own and or others, I get that! Yet there is no space to actually detail a standalone plan which can then be linked to others. If an author is generous and links many other author's proposals to his/her own and gives an explanation of any length for each linked proposal, then there is simply no room for a detailed consideration of a standalone plan in the 'Which proposals are included in your plan and how do they fit together?' sector. There is already a sector for 'Related plans' which is workable for linking proposals. So, it appears that there are 2 sectors for linking proposals. We do need a specific sector for "What actions do you propose?" and "Who will take these actions?". Also, having a sector for 'What are other key benefits?' would help flesh out a proposal; as opposed to 'What are the plan’s key benefits?' which should be in the primary 'What actions do you propose?'. The above is offered for future considerations as it is probably too late to change the format for this current crop of proposals. In brief, the 'Which proposals are included in your plan and how do they fit together'sector has to be used to detail a plan which greatly restricts the ability to detail how other proposals can be linked.

Hello, Thank you for your suggestions. We value the feedback that members provide, and will take this into consideration for future contests. In the meantime, you may also be able to develop at separate proposal for your stand alone plan in the 2015 Proposal Workspace and link to it in your regional climate action plan. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions! Thank you, Annalyn Bachmann Project Assistant with the Climate CoLab
