Michael Reading is passionate about harnessing the power of business to advance sustainable development. He serves as Manger, Corporate Partnerships and Bill Bowes Fellow at Environmental Defense Fund. Michael has held positions across private and non-profit sectors, including roles in strategy, environmental, and international development consulting, sustainability investing, supply chain management, and policy analysis. As a Fulbright Scholar, he conducted independent research in Toronto, Canada on best practices in government-NGO relations. Michael graduated from The Fletcher School, Tufts University with a Master of International Business and concentrations in Strategic Management & International Consultancy and International Environment & Resource Policy. He was awarded the distinction of MIB Scholar in 2011-2012. He also graduated from St. Olaf College summa cum laude, with departmental distinction in political science.

Publications across consultancy and think-tank reports, press, and academic channels, focused on cross-sector collaboration for sustainable development, clean energy technology transfer, and the financial implications of carbon management. Presentations at three national conferences.
