Richard Schmalensee is the John C. Head III Dean, Emeritus and the Howard W. Johnson Professor of Management and Economics, Emeritus at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He holds a joint appointment with the Department of Economics at MIT. He is also Director of the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research.
