I live in the beautiful Scottish countryside where the wonders of nature continue to provide a perfect symphony that stimulates every human sense and feeling. Where everything works in harmony to provide the balance that makes our world….. perfect.

Completed projects; working with nature:

Rainwater harvesting for the large vegetable and fruit gardens

Planting of close to 2,000 Willow trees to provide a sustainable source of solid fuel, which provides heating, hot water and cooking facilities

Solar kiln to season the willows, which incorporates a chimney to utilise natural flow of air to remove moisture

4KW solar panel system to supplement energy usage

Installation of 60% LED lighting to reduce energy consumption

I strongly believe in sustainability. We consume our natural resources and a phenomenal rate, resources that are finite. Knowing that they are finite, we need to work on managing our waste. Conserving our resources now will allow us time to perfect our waste management, paving the way to a more sustainable life, before the resources run out.

If we are to reduce, an ultimately eliminate our energy dependence on fossil fuels we need to be diverse in renewable energy production in both type and scale.
