I am a Biology major at Colorado College.   I aim to develop sustainable energy and farming.

Solutions I think are worth looking in to:

-Carbon taxes (no more subsidies for fossil fuels!!) and clean energy incentives/subsidies

-Large scale investment in wind and solar energy (construction and research)

-Investment in cleaner transportation infrastructure (high speed rail, public transportation- the technology already exisits, we just need to build it)

-Research in hydrogen fuel, biofuels, and graphene technology

-Localized, sustainable farming.  I am partucularly interested in the idea of permaculture/agroforestry
