Principal in charge of educational and civic facilities at HMC Architecture with a commitment to integrated building design to deliver high performance sustainable design. Experience includes projects large and small that have achieved LEED Certification at all levels, at least one project aspiring to meet the Living Building Challenge and one aiming for Net Zero energy. Beyond the traditional practice of architecture actively involved in sustainable urban design and planning including participating on the team that wrote the City of Santa Monica, CA first Sustainable Design Ordinance and multiple transit oriented smart growth plans.
