I am a 25 year old Masters student at The University of South Africa (UNISA), currently completing my degree in Psychological Research Consultation. I was born in Namibia and lived there until the age of 15 during which I spend most of my time living on my family's farm. I moved to South Africa in 2005 where I started pursuing thoughts and ideals of the necessary restructuring of our social and other systems to attain a balanced ecosystem world-wide. As a person and fellow human being, I have always considered myself to be a part of a bigger whole not only within the societies we call home, but universally. We are all part of a bigger whole, complex system of interrelated functions and levels and in this context, as a person I believe that It is my role in life to create strong and healthy links between ourselves and the systems we form a part of daily and across different timelines. I am an outdoors, adventurous youth, and I always strive to gain a better understanding of life as a whole, by gathering knowledge in all spheres of life, science, philosophy, sociology, history among others. Not to mention the different species of animals I currently breed and keep at home, it is my view and interest to research ideas on and about maintaining healthy, balanced ecosystems. I believe that as humans, it could and ultimately should be our obligation and surely within our capacity, to ensure that, what we produce in waste matter and what we remove from our planet Earth to sustain ourselves, we ourselves should be able to replace and restore in a balanced and self-sustainable fashion. This having been said, once I complete my Masters in Research Consultation, I would like to pursue a career in environmental conservation and new sustainable energy sources, specialising in creating greener spaces in third world countries especially, such as for example South Africa and in my home country, Namibia.
