I'm a coastal aquatic ecologist with the MIT Sea Grant College Program in the Marine Advisory Services group. My primary interests are in the effects of climate change on salt marshes and other coastal habitats, the ecology and physiology of fresh- and saltwater plants and algae, water quality regulation, and the transport and fate of terrestrially-derived pollutants (nutrients, metals, and emerging contaminants such as pharmaceuticals and personal care products) to the coastal ocean.
