Jessica is an instructor and program coordinator with D-Lab at MIT, focusing on projects related to youth engagement and environmental sustainability. She became interested in supporting communities on climate adaptation efforts during her international travels and her time as a climate fellow at the Climate Reality Project (formerly the Alliance for Climate Protection). Jessica is co-founder of a social enterprise, Zimba Water, that is working with communities in the Sundarbans between India and Bangladesh, a region which could be heavily affected by climate change. She has degrees in civil and environmental engineering and business from the University of California, Berkeley and will be attending the Stanford Graduate School of Education this fall.
