Associate professor of Soil Science in Tribhuvan University of Nepal
Area of specialization:
1) Basically a student of agricultural science with major university knowledge and skills earned in the field of Soil Science.
2) Research experience mainly on soil quality particularly the soil health in relation to environmental quality; cycling of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus across soil, plant and atmospheric continuum; exploring capacity of agricultural soils for carbon sequestration to curb atmospheric carbon levels.
3) Part of research and teaching interests on soil and water quality improvements due to organic agriculture in comparison with inorganic or conventional agriculture.
4) Role of soil resources on sustainable agriculture and climate change.
Research Publications and global exposure:
1) Significant numbers of research publications in international, regional and national professional journals.
2) Active participation in world congress, international conferences and organizing workshops and presentations of research results.
3) Over two decades of teaching experience in the Univeristy in Nepal and visiting faculty in National Taiwan University.
Visits:
1) Visited nearly 20 countries in the world and the countries-in-routes.
